3D Scanning

3D scanning captures an object’s 3D physical form and converts it into digital data. The data can then be measured, analysed and manipulated virtually within a 3D computer software programme.

The equipment can scan and capture large objects many meters in size and small objects of only a few millimeters, and can even scan people.

We can also post-process the captured data by fixing, stitching and refining the information and putting it into your preferred file format.

ROLAND LPX 600

A small format bench top, non-contact 3D laser scanner for scanning smaller volume static objects. It can automatically scan using either its Rotary or Plane Scanning Mode. With a scanning envelope 254mm in diameter by 406mm high, and a with a resolution of 0.2mm, it is ideally suited to scanning objects such as small sculptures, models, ornaments and containers.

Faro Arm

This is a precision reverse engineering solution, providing highly accurate 3D capture and measurement. It can also be used as either a contact measurement device via its touch probe, or as a non-contact 3D scanner via its laser attachment with an accuracy of +- 0.025mm. Although used within aerospace, automotive, medical and marine industries, its accuracy and dexterity can be used in many new and creative applications.

MEPHISTO 3D PRO

This non-contact structured light scanner can quickly and accurately capture animated, static, both large and small volume objects in high detail. Not only does it capture an object’s form but also its surface colours and textures, mapping them onto the virtual 3D model. It is very flexible and provides solutions to many applications including architecture, film sets or props, face capture, sculpture, and industrial design.
