CAD

Whether you are new to Computer Aided Design (CAD) or experienced and looking to explore the features of a new software package, we offer a growing range of training courses to suit your needs.

Metropolitan Works’ Digital Manufacturing Centre has an unprecedented range of advanced computer controlled equipment at the disposal of desigers, manufacturers and artists. However, many will need training to generate the data that these digitally controlled machines require to operate.

CAD training is offered in the following software:

Rhino CAD

This easy to use 3D modelling software is taught on a regular basis at Metropolitan Works by professional trainers from Simply Rhino. Level 1 is the standard introductory two day course.

Intermediate Furniture is offered as part of our Furniture Works support programme.

Solid Works

Introductory sessions to this software are run by NTCAD CAM. The standard five day course can be arranged on demand.
