Metropolitan Works’ revolutionary £4.5 million Creative Industries Centre offers a range of workspace solutions for creative businesses. The following facilities are offered on a Pay and Go basis, providing a flexible alternative to renting fixed-term studio space.

Please note that on rare occasions machinery may be out of action due to servicing and breakdown. To avoid disappointment please make Metropolitan Works staff aware of the equipment you wish to use when confirming your booking.

Workshop access

Metropolitan Works’ impressive first floor workshop contains a range of quality machinery complemented by communal workbenches.
Machinery includes;
• thicknesser
• lathe
• morticer
• table saw
• dimension saw
• band saw
• pillar drill
• radial arm saw
• surface planer
• spindle moulder
• bobbin sander
• disk sander
• belt sander

Model Making workshop

Shared access to London Metropolitan University’s excellent model making workshop is available from as little as £28 per day. For further information/ to book your place click here or email payandgo@metropolitanworks.org

CAD (Computer Aided Design)

Individual CAD desk and lockable CAD offices are available for hire from as little as £32 per day with a range of certified CAD software, plug-ins and optional extras available. For a comprehensive list please click here.
